·     Stay up to date with payments-that is the only way to save your dancers spots in class and in shows. Many classes will fill up and have a waiting list. If you do not pay on time, you will be charged a late fee or be put on a waiting list. Payment reminders and links are sent out before the 1st of each month.

​

·     Check your emails at least once a week- we send out updates, music, movements, etc.  

​

·     Practice is the KEY to the growth of each dancer. We ask that they review their practice videos on our “MCDC Parent Page” and run through it at least 4 times a day. Also, it is best to stretch out every day. (Once in the morning and at night)

Dance Floor Rules: 

o  Only bottled water is allowed 

o  Hair needs to be kept out of the dancer’s face

o  Please be respectful of others and keep talking to a minimum (This includes family who is watching the class) 

o  Please see your teacher on what to wear to class and for shows/recitals

o  If you bring siblings to class, please keep them busy and/or quite for class time.  

o  Please drop off and pick up dancers on time.

Shows and Recitals:

o  MCDC will do a lot of shows in the community. This will help dancers learn how to behave in front of viewers, how to be on stage, in front of cameras, in the dressing rooms, back stage, etc. 

o  Every stage is different, and we would like to make your dancers well around in being able to adapt to anything. 

o  Only dancers who are potty-trained can be in a recital, but all dancers can be in shows 

o  Dancers must be up to date on payments in order to be in recitals and attend all practices. 

o  Back stages moms need to be back ground checked before they are able to be back stage. Please see the front desk for more information.
